One thing that irks me about the backstabbing comment besides being malicious and patently untrue.. is that when JIM contacted ME and I told him what happened - like the stand up guy he is he offered to pay for the fix to the flash file he'd contacted me about.. and as Jim just reminded me - I REFUSED TO TAKE HIS MONEY.. So I get stiffed in a cut.. then not paid at all.. don't even get the bonus because they liked my work (only just found this out off Jim) get contacted by the client AND STILL DO A FIX UP ON IT FOR FREE and ***I'M*** the backstabber??? lol anyone can see through this how I do business.. besides naively giving mates rates.. even when I get screwed im fair... man...

Seeing as his name is allready shitted on, paying back $ owed is probably not on his list of "to do" things because it makes no diff other than what is RIGHT. Will possibly see a "nick" change in the future and more of this "bad" buisness going on.

If hungryman is truely stiffing designers, and you want him totally out of business, any designer that hasn't been paid in full, exercise your copyright. Have the hosts pull all pages with your work on them until you're fully paid.

This will do 2 things.

1. Hungryman's customers will line up to sue.
2. Someone will have to pay you.
3. Hungryman will have to disappear cause he'd never find work again.
4. I was never good at math.

But yeah, good idea, because it's obvious that he's just going to keep denying, throwing up smokescreens and slinging mud.

If some people are sitting out there still wondering why I'm posting this thread on several boards, that's one of the reasons right there.

Once I get the list of claimants as complete as I can get it I will be posting it on all relevant boards. It is the next step. The step after that will be to investigate what stolen content he has up on his site or sites, after which I will organize some effort to contact his host. After that there may be room to also notify some of his past clients to let them know that the work they paid for may be in jeopardy.

Depending on how many claimants contact me, there may also be a way to organize something in the way of launching some kind of legal action collectively. I am not ruling that out, it is an extreme measure but at this point it isn't off the table. I would of course prefer that Paul come to his senses and just clear his debts and put an end to this fiasco.

Maybe someone needs to erect a site with all this info, and make sure to use the proper kw's etc so the site comes up when people search for hungry's design site. Kinda like he was giving insane midget shit, maybe...

That's the other thing on the table. I am in the process of developing a large webmaster resource including my paid traffic site, which will include a comprehensive network blacklist. There will be full pages on there dedicated to covering the Hungryman issue in detail.

When someone types in "paysite design" or "Hungryman" into a search engine, I intend to have those blacklist pages come up in that list. Forever. In the 2005 edition of Webster's dictionary I intend to have Paul's picture next to the word "Scammer".

Only thing is after constant threats by me, and my friend telling Hungry he wouldnt do any more toons until he got paid, he paid my friend whatever he owed.

But the thing is, by then, he had already ripped off other toonists and my friend was the only one willing to do work for him, he hadnt quite caught on, and I had told my friend that Hungry was cool and even if it took a couple weeks he would get paid.

I would be at his house and Hungry would hit him up on icq, and I would read his lies.

And see what he was offering my friend for work, KNOWING he was getting fucked over, I told him I would deal with Hungry on a different level, and that he shouldnt do ANY MORE WORK FOR HM AND TO TAKE THE TOONS OFF HIS SITE!

Fletch, I completely understand your feelings. I do. I know I would feel the same exact way in your shoes, and I am trying very hard to restrain my own self in this matter, believe me. But I have to focus on getting the money issues solved first and foremost. If you talk with your friend and it turns out he can come up with an exact or approximate figure of anything that might be still owing to him I would like to know about it.

just remembered a little more.

I remember now about the 400 bucks he was owed.

Hungry kept telling him his work wasnt good enough, but the site was fucking trading traffic.

He kept getting my friend to do renditions of a toon, at one time I remember now he said he had done 6 different toons and was tired of Hungry totally changing the jobs, almost like he was changing the work afterwards and getting more than ONE JOB with the toons.

He was trying to scam him for more work, saying the clients "werent pleased and he had to talk them down from so and so amount, to so and so amount" therefore his % was cut and was getting shit out of the deal, when he did many toons for Hungryman/Paul/brianna.

I remember it clearly now.

My friend was trying to study for exams, and Hungry was hassling him, my friend was like, "who does this guy think he is?"

Hungry at one point told him "if school is too important maybe you should find other work" all the time, this fuck OWED MY BOY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS and THATS when he started to really pull shit.

It was almost immediate, as soon as VIDSVIEW was launched, that you all the sudden did a Doctor Jeckyl/Mr Hide, and booted my ass out complaining that you were not used to having to share your living space .... Fine!

I paid my rent each month bitch, and when I was leaving you asked me to pay you for half the maid service (3 out of 5 times she came while I was living there, she did not even touch my room ... there was still dust on my desk and TV unit ... ) but whatever .... There haven't been many of his former clients coming to his aid on any of my threads though. They have been strangely silent actually, and that is probably for the best. If Paul keeps avoiding this and refrains from owning up to his debts like a man, he will force me to take further steps. If I have to take this to more extreme levels, the sites of some of Paul's clients may have to be taken down until the bills are paid. That work could be considered stolen.

That would be the last thing I would want to have happen, but it may come to that. It's really all up to Paul.

As I said earlier, I will soon be exploring his hosting and will be asking for any information anyone has in that area, with the intent of requesting that some of his offending sites be shut down for containing stolen content. I will also be exsploring the avenue of how to force him into court, AND I am going to find out about his past clients and see if there might be any leverage there.




And I won't stop promoting threads about him on every board he posts on.



It will take time, but that time will be worth it.

A) are ever looking to hire a designer,
B) are ever in a position to recommend a good designer to others.


By knowing the facts in this case you will all know who to avoid and who not to recommend in the future. We will have to see about compiling a list of approved designers...... non-hungryman approved ones at that. Such a list would include actual designers who have a proven track record of doing quality work in a timely manner.


Do not allow yourselves to be diverted or distracted from the focus, the facts are the facts, period. There are idiots who will try bumping old threads to confuse you, they will bring up little side arguments and irrelivant issues to cloud the focus. Don't be fooled, the focus is simple, some good designers were ripped off and need to be paid, their hard work is being used to earn money for the person who ripped them off. No other issue or post packed full of needless bullshit will dissuade the truth.

I think some people may be hesitant to come forward because they don't want to get caught up in anything, to ruin their name.. but I think from the fact that there are many heavy hitters who are already outspoken on this issue, the lesser-known who have dealt with this crook, been affected by his lack of ethics or have relevant information should feel confident in coming forth with anything that might add to the body of evidence.
