Myself, Teen Angel, and Chodadog all posted rebuttals to Feynman's bullshit. I feel sorry for Feynman if anything. He has obviously allowed himself to be deluded by HungryBrianna. He will likely come to learn eventually what that means.

I do that most of the time . I got a lot of people to take care of and if I'd do the designs myself this wouldn't work ... but hey it's called EMPLOYES !

As I said in the next paragraph, which you didn't quote, I have no problem with that. The design brokerage model works well for all parties when managed honestly and properly.

I was just put on this thread today. I've been in production for weeks and don't get much time to surf the boards. Lately, I've tried to avoid Hungryman threads, solely based on principle and trying to keep my blood pressure down.

When I first met Hungryman I didn't know very much about his past business relations, but I thought that his intentions were in the right place and that he wanted to make something of his business. That was the basis for my involvement with him. Despite being warned by some good friends, I had faith in him. But, that's when I was dealing with him from 500km away.

Once he moved to Montreal...I had a rude awakening and realized that Hungryman really is just one of those people who takes advantage of every opportunity and everyone. He's a person with serious problems in his business and personal life.

I applaud CDSmith for coming to the rescue of his friends. Having been fleeced by Hungryman myself...I can empathize with the designers who have yet to be paid.

DO NOT...under ANY circumstance...do business with this guy. CDSmith has the right idea here. It's unfortunate that the boards have to be used in this way, but if we don't warn other people then there are always going to be newbies who'll be at risk of being taken advantage of. The only thing to do is to keep people aware that they're out there.

And an FYI ... $50 is not insane AT ALL for a good gallery... it is taking pride in my work, and knowing that it is going to get accepted everywhere, have a great fucking CTR, and if you chose your sponsors wisely, is gonna convert quite nicely. Going rates for a 468x60 banner is between $25 and $35, so how the fuck do you figure a full page gallery is insanely priced at $50 ????? I was only an employee of PENSFAN, and left holding the smoking gun... (and BTW the fucker still owes me $615 USD too, but I have long since accepted that I will never see that. How many times did I create a major spectacle about that though .... NONE!)

At this time yes my job was sales ... and Pensfan (along with Ricki Lee, Nemanja, Amputate Your Head, Quashe, Kelly, and I think a couple more desingers too), was in charge of the designs ....

I did sales and brought in new contracts. I was paid a flat rate each week. Period.

I was often left to deligate the work to the designers ... but Pensfan (aka Buck Naked, aka Bibiluv, aka Traci Carlson, aka Duane Hanson) controlled the purse strings ... I will rot in hell before I will pay somebody elses debt ... esp. when I live from month to month myself ? Yeah OK. I even helped Ricki Lee try to get payments from Duane (or Pensfan, Buck Naked, Traci ... whatever he goes by), for well over a year, (C'mon Ricki - call me a liar again!), and yet this is what I get!!!!!

Everybody has almost all but forgotten about Duane, as he is no longer around or visible on the boards anyways ... but my fucking reputaion has been dragged thru the mud countless fucking times!!

A comment was made on one of the boards about me being so STUPID to keep coming back for more .... It is not a matter of stupidity. I don't have anything to hide from.

Yes I did use Ricki for I think 3, maybe 4 personal projects at the same time, and yes my paperwork is in perfect order for those payments ... anybody's lawyer who wishes to inspect them may do so, but I will be fucked if I am going to post anything to a public forum ... Everybody is going to have to look elsewhere for their entertainment. Sorry. ( I hear there is this place called GO FUCK YOURSELF is supposed to be pretty good entertainment...)

Can't believe that.. we were going to be doing some stuff together selling flash layer ads so I didn't mind doing a few cheapies for someone I was going to do more biz with.. but $500 for www.techiemedia.com when you're getting screwed? damn. If I needed the money at the time I would have been pissed. I don't think I even asked for any of the money owed except for once.

I was going to put a sleeper swf in the main flash to switch to a big red "unpaid" if i didn't get cash just to put a cat amongst the pidgeons, but lightning who runs techiemedia and who is actually really cool contacted me around the same time and it wouldn't be good to punish him when he wouldn't have known his money didn't go to the guy that designed it. (HM did code it up though - I used to outsource cut-ups and coding back then)

As I've said before it's actually more embarrassing than anything... to be scammed for such a small amount of money... oh well.. he's scrounging around for gallery design jobs now and I run two programs - his punishment is his life.

That is bullshit, he and Duane went apart a long time before he stopped the payments. Debts were split if I remember well. Duane/Pens owed me almost 3k in start, we went down in small payments to around 200 - which were covered by WesternUnion fees as we agreed at the end.
Traci Carson / bibabi - I'm not sure if that's a real person or a made up character, she used to run liquidbydesign studios, I did some small project, I've lost track how much money was owed etc (she supposedly sent me a WU transfer, but "IT GOT LOST", haha).
Paul owes me money from his projects, nothing related to Duane.
I have all those sourcefiles and other stuff on backup cds somewhere, but I'm not feeling like browsing them at the moment.. $500 is not alot of money for some of you, but there's no reason to let them go. If he had only sent like $50 monthly, he could have easily cleared his debt with me.

I think, since we're all in the same business, we might as well respect each other. If someone owes money to someone, he should be paid rightly, and on the right time.

Fuck Vid - I often set aside paying work, just to help you out to learn, and to build your VIDSVIEW.NET site.

It was almost immediate, as soon as VIDSVIEW was launched, that you all the sudden did a Doctor Jeckyl/Mr Hide, and booted my ass out complaining that you were not used to having to share your living space .... Fine!

I paid my rent each month bitch, and when I was leaving you asked me to pay you for half the maid service (3 out of 5 times she came while I was living there, she did not even touch my room ... there was still dust on my desk and TV unit ... ) but whatever .... I would rather pay that then cause waves ...

Better yet - find a debt collector who guarantees his work - the possibility of smashed knee caps always seems to help debtors remember where they have some money put by for a rainy day.

Look at the page views my threads on all 3 boards are getting Paul. Negative exposure is usually a good thing for most companies and rogue webmasters..... but not in this case. Who except an idiot would knowingly hire a designer who has pissed off and/or ripped off so many others in the past?
