For being a huge industry, it can sure feel *very* small
*very* quickly.

If someone has to choose between ex's for dinner, that's just bullshit, if there are more than 8 people at the table.
The problem is NOT dating someone from within the industry, the problem is how to act professionally while you're dating someone within the industry.
If you're hanging out with your friends that met in the business on vacation somewhere, then that does pose some thought. But if it's a business dinner, then act professionally, whether you're ex's or currents.
That's Rule #1.
There are people that didn't start out in this industry, ended up in it with their spouse or whatever you want to call it, that have split up while in the industry. And both of them still come out to dinners, act professionally and things are good all the way around.
