I can see a time coming where even in the US the dollar is worth shit. In 5 years i can take Euro's on my trip to the us and pay with those hehehe.

fucking dollar is dropping fast, it's 1.18CAD now for every USD, was 1.20 like last week... every fucking 0.1 costs me alot of money

Economists are saying the USD will have to drop even further to reach a realistic level. Saving your dollars until the USD goes up again is a REALLY bad idea, and will probably end up costing you a shitload of money.

why so?

the canadian dollar will have to drop.

canada has no choice but to play with it's interest rate.

and by the way, the canadian dollar was low in the early 90's.

hold on a year or 2 if you can.

Can anyone explain why this happened? Yesterday the currency experts said that if todays job numbers were bad the USD would keep dropping, but they were extremely good and it just dropped anyway.. hmm I wonder how expensive the EUR would have been today if the job numbers sucked?

Yeah it jumped for about 5 minutes, but then the reality that the budget and trade deficit gorillas still hadn't gone away set in.

I wasn't talking about the Canadian dollar, I was talking about the USD. I have no idea what the Canadian dollar will do in the future and don't particularly care.

The USD, however, will probably continue to fall because of the huge deficit. And since Dubya got a second term, it doesn't look like the deficit problem will be solved any time soon.

Oh dude, im losing so much money now with blackjack....every time i go i lose about 100 bucks and i go way too often. Its like those dealers have a patent on 21 and only theyre allowed to get it. My buddy kept track last time, out of 15 games i won 5 or so and the dealer got 21 way too many times. Then a few days later. 6 games, dealer had 21 3 times.
