For the most part anything negative that comes out of a relationship is usually because the relationship was continued on longer than it should have been. So the real question is when you know something is wrong do you stay in too long or do you know how to cut the cord early before things become too drama filled. That is where the drama comes from most of the time from all relationships industry or not.
I don't know that I have ever experienced someone
seeking to hurt my reputation or "talking shit". I guess
I am just more uncomfortable with hurt feelings and
the (unavoidable) discomfort that people feel when
two "ex's" come together ie: who to invite to dinner, etc.

For being a huge industry, it can sure feel *very* small
*very* quickly.
