One of the things I've learnt in business is not to trust people I do not know. Even a check can be cancelled after you have handed over the goods. This actually happened to me.
So now the rules of doing business is simple, unless I KNOW you are good for the money I'm not lending you money. You pay for the good when you take them or tyou do not take them at all.
The problem with situations like this is so many people on the Adult Internet are willing to trust people they have never met, never likely to meet and have no way of making sure they are straight. It's a conn mans' heaven.
Big Lou, I do not know you but I have this advise for you. Rodneys reputation is doubtful at best, so make sure you get the money when you hand over the goods or keep a copy of everything you shoot and include in the contract that the content remaisn your property until it's paid for. Then if it's not at least you can resell it and get your money back.Comment

I did cover my ass with a contract...Rodney never signed and returned it, even though I sent it to him 3 seperate times. If he had, we would be in a very different position today.

1st off I had a 1 time experience shooting with Big Lou with the idea of spilitting model expenses and shoot time with the models and I must say he was a total wanna be photographer and complete nerd... Hell he couldn?t even shoot with his own camera in a timely manner, I even helped him shoot becuase he couldnt.
But that wasn't even close to the worst part of the whole experience shooting at his apartment, I was horrified to shoot there and having models think I was associated with him. The place was an utter dump. Models that showed up didn't want to shoot with him and wanted to shoot with me because I was professional and not creepy as hell, I mean shit I felt obligated to explained to them upfront this was a shock to myself as well and was a 1 time shared shoot, and did not know the conditions would be like this and I apologized to them and asked that they didn?t hold this experience against me.
I will say I will never work with this guy ever again. I mean fuck, he was fucking so proud of his mr. brain stints on some nickelodeon TV show as being a know it all about cartoons.... WHAT A FUCKING LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds pretty familiar, in fact, I shot the video for that and it wouldn't have even happened if I didn't get a model to replace the flake model that didn't even show up.
I wouldn't be pissed off at anything or even the conditions if someone, not gonna say who, didn't even say thanks for the save or for shooting, or for paying for time I didn't get a fair share of.
So all I have to say is good luck. I have known Big Lou for several years and all I can say is he is getting a real rough start, even for GFY. I would be really surprised if his reputation gets wrecked over this crap.

I have it all. I have the original tapes, the model releases and ID's, the edited full blown AVI's, and the encoded final product.
