I am only interested in doing things with honost people that say what they are thinking to a persons face, (not behind there back at a party) those people can obviously recognize each other, and will do biz together, the other ones can do business together too.... but when/if there is a situation arise they will be the ones trying to fuck each other and blame each other, the honost ones will anylize and percivier, those are the ones I give respect to, not just cause someone is richer.... money comes and goes for us all, but the heart remains the same... I choose to be with the good guys if they are not the big guys then so be it, that just makes the journy to the top with them that much more satisfying in the end!

I know some wealthy people and they are some of the nicest people you'd ever meet, they are happy and comfortable.

I feel a lot of the 'rich elite asshole type' are not really comfortable financially, emotionally or otherwise ( surely if they were they'd have something better to do than post garbage on a message board ) I can't say who i'd put in this category, but i've seen behaviour that gives me the impression there are a few.

I guess most of those you are alluding to do qualify as "old-timers", but they are only a small part of the industry. After 8 years (next month) I have a solid list of sponsors that do well for me and I noticed a while back that very few on it post here regularly. The majority do make announcements and some post from time to time. But their posts are usually in terms I suspect you would approve of.

Given its name, this board was never aimed at the more - ummm - conservative (?) webmaster. But there are plenty out there and meanwhile here it is often more useful to see who people talk about, and how, rather than who does the talking...

For the most part I would agree with all that. There really are only a very few people that post that continualy call people Idiots, noobs etc.... and refer to themselves as being better than everyone else. Well the reality is, that they are for the most part the biggest Idiots themselves. Most other people here (well me anyway) always get a good laugh at them while they make fools out of themselves, and earn zero respect (except maybe from some ass kissing fools) for themselves. But just remember "Every Village Has An Idiot" that's why they are here and being laughed at.

I have lots of thoughts on this. My first thought was triggered by you using ?Hustler? and ?Class? in conjunction with each other. From what I have seen, read, and been told?..Larry Flynt himself has resorted to everything that you are complaining about here. Although Larry is not a class act, he built an empire that is.

The world changes and with those changes come different ways of doing business. One of those ways can be these message boards. If GFY were around when Larry Flynt was starting out then he would almost certainly be a very outspoken figure here.

I also get a kick out of the mere suggestion that ANYBODY who posts to GFY on a regular basis is even close to being comparable to either Hustler or Vivid.

The basic theme of your thread does have valid points but you would have been better off if you really knew a thing or two about SleazyDream. He is by far one of the most giving people I have ever met in this business. ?money motivated, very greedy, and obviously afraid to really help anyone? does not describe him in any way, shape, or form.

I would once again like to point out that at NO TIME has SleazyDream ever said he considered himself elite. What he has done is thrown parties for those in the industry that HE considers to be Elite. There is a huge difference there.



Yet each of these same people have achieved more than 90%+ of the GFY members. Each of them has also helped me in one way or another. They are all much more successful than I am and they truly have nothing to gain from assisting me other than my friendship and lets be real for a moment??WTF does my friendship have to offer them professionally? Not a God Damn thing. These people are not greedy, they are selective. Most likely because they have been burned enough times by others who fucked them over.

The companies and or people that Joesho is condemning are guilty primarily of telling it like it is. They pull no punches and take no prisoners. Their words and actions may not be approved of by some people but nobody is liked by 100% of the population. Besides that...They do have a positive impact on this industry...Either by A: Chasing away a potential industry thorn or B: Strengthening those who have the raw determination that is needed to overcome today's obstacles.

The dog and pony shows that you see on these boards are not the same actions that go on behind closed doors. Whether people want to believe it or not is of no concern to those who are making any decent coin.

I dare not compare myself to the others that have been mentioned in this thread but through their generosity, I hope to surpass their success in the not so distant future.

I kiss nobodies ass but I sure as hell will show some respect for those who have seen enough in me to freely offer their advice, services, and friendship to a guy who can not equally return the favor.

both Hustler, and vivid have more than just mere reps that post here in threads that are not totally centered on drama alone as some have tried to make this. hell I wish you could ask a question or have a conversation here without it being always about the drama and I am sure if this was the case both those companies would have more people on this board doing more business too!

Funny thing is, you never see 12clicks putting down a newbie unless he is first attacked or pissed with or mouthed off to in some way. Then he slaps back and puts them in their fucking place. Otherwise his posts are much like anyone else's here that likes to mix it up on rowdy threads.

Don't come with attitude and he's actually a pretty helpful guy. He even has the ability to ask questions of certain people when he himself doesn't know something, he's certainly consulted me on a few subjects in the past.


Sleazy is much the same way generally. Don't fall for the elite crap, he's all about something that the average newb looking only on the surface simply can't see. Look deeper, and quit running off at the fucking mouth for crying out loud. You will get nothing but ridicule and make yourself look like a buffoon repeatedly.

I fucked up in trusting Rodney Connor and PIBCash. We all make mistakes.

As for the second thing....You are not telling it like it is. You are telling it as you personally see it. The fact of the matter is that you have not seen inside the world of the other people in question so you can not accurately comment on it. You are attacking them for attacking others.

Who do you consider "elite" I know of a lot of old timers since I have been around about 6-7 years now and I never see old timers putting anyone down.... unless they are a moron. Most people you see putting people down are probally newbies themselves but think they are "Pros" cause they have a following of ass clowns

As for class your missing a lot of people there... example: the maxcash brothers - always a class act, but unless you were on condom 4-5 years ago you wouldn't know that... and I think 12 clicks is a very nice guy only dealt with him a few times but he was always very professional with me.

And why judge anyone from a message board? People usually don't act like they do when they post as they do in person.

OK, I was going to avoid this thread, but this kind of confuses me. Vividcash just opened what... 6 months ago, and Siccash has been up since 1996. So Vividcash at 6 months is a longtime stallwarth, and siccash at 8 years now is a cycle?

Vivid has made a huge impact on the video side, but not nearly the innovations that some of the old school people made as far as affiliate programs go.

You got some guts to make this thread and to stick with it voicing your opinion. Some will agree some wont.

My take on this is I dont see the intimidation. I read this board daily and I can honestly say I am not the least bit threatened or intimidated by any of the big players (or anyone on this board for that matter). Sure they speak there mind just like you are but the only reason you would feel intimidated would be if you were weak yourself.

Believe in yourself and you won't have to worry about this kind of thing.

Its also important to remember the board is called "go fuck yourself".

This industry is small so it?s not a good idea to burn your bridges. You never know when you?re going to need someone?s help.

We have always offered help to new webmasters that is the whole point of being a sponsor.

If you?re singling out Old timers that you don't approve of then that?s your opinion but to make a blanket statement is wrong because not all old timers are assholes.

Don?t forget most of the old timers paved your road they didn?t have a road back then so they already helped you out.

We have been in the business for 8 years and I?m not going to try to inflate our ego in any way.
I personal still learn new things from old-timers and newbie?s. It?s a never ending battle.
