It doesn't surprise me. One time there I saw a cashier ask another cashier if a $100 was ok because it didn't have the security strip in it. It was an old bill, made before the time the U.S. Mint put security strips in the bills. It even passed the marker test, but she still asked a coworker. So now they hispanic guy in line has all these people looking wondering if he is passing bad bills.
I wouldn't have given it another thought, but the next customer tried to pay for something using a Canadian dime. The cashier, again, turns to her co-worker asking if they accept Canadian dimes.Comment

thats a stupid joke they played. these kids when i went to high school decided to do some survey or something on using counterfit money. they used a fake 20 at a gas station and after the cashier fell for it they told him and gave him real $. so the cashier calls the cops anyways and the kid got arrested for it.I host with VacaresComment

But putting her in jail cause wallmart had no change was not a nice thing to do by wallmart as well.
Maybe they should have just changed the bill at the store nextdoor and show that the client is still king?

There used to be this old trick that you could do.
Get 4 - 20 dollar bills rip off the corner of each bill ( a different corner on each bill )
Ok now you have four 20's that are still perfectly fine.
Now take a 1 dollar bill and tape the four corners from the $20 bills onto the $1 bill..
If your smooth you can fool someone that isnt paying attention.
ok now the joke is, this guy gets busted in california trying to pull this scam, but the guy was a complete retard and had the trick backwards, lol he had the $1 corners taped over a $20 bill , so even if this trick had worked it would have cost him $19 lolComment
