Historically speaking, JFK's death was the best thing that could have happened to him. If he had lived....
Most of the civil rights laws that were pased wouldn't have been. JFK had too many enemies in the senate inside his own party and he was TERRIBLE at making deals to get things passed. They all got done by LBJ.......look it up.
He was busy sending covert troops into cambodia and French Indochina (Vietnam), while telling everyone that he wouldn't. He would not have looked very good historically as he had continued to escalate the Vietnam confilct. (as he was doing and was planning on continuing).
His proposed strategies with regards to China very well could have lead to WWIII.

I do believe the "government" killed JFK, but I believe Lyndon Johnson and the CIA were behind the asassination. That's just my but for whatever reason, the "government" wanted JFK out and LBJ in.
