I hate getting into these convo's, I don't share views with ANY of you US or Foreign. But I think it should be noted that the US controls the largest UNTAPPED oil reserves in the world. So if it were a situation of money your euro ain't gonna mean shit in ten years when your gas prices go through the roof and we tell opec to blow goats. Not that we won't burn right through it with all the soccer moms driving hummer's, but the point is...we have it.
The downside is that it exists in some of the most beautiful country known to man on this great earth, so we'd rather be able to enjoy our land and burn your oil for now.
The problem with America is 3 fold.
1. We've become consumer whores, put it on tv, call it cool and we'll by them by the baker's dozen.
2. We're rotting from the inside out. Corporate greed and corruption are running rampant, its a dirty backstabbing jungle out there and everyone's on the take somehow.
3. We've lost our sense of unity and true pride, we quarrel amongst ourselves and cannot seem to find a common ground. This trauma is exacerbated by the fact that we've not had a truly great leader in many many years.
All that being said, the US does many many many great things for countries the world over. These good points are all to often outshined by the media coverage of the negatives. Conflict sells, feel good stories don't. If the US were to real in all its tenticles, isolate itself and shore up its boarders, you'd hear a WHOLE LOT more whining than you hear now.
When you're the largest and at the top there are two opinions the rest of the world's sheep will have of you.
1. You're the strongest most capable nation in existence, why do you push your might on us????
