I had metal ones, then clear ones (they turned yellow). I had pink ones for a while. then they used me as a test case for putting braces on the inside of the mouth...I ripped the shit out of my tounge but it was not too bad. You talk funny with them on the inside. Not sure if they even do this. After all that I was always losing my retainer and just stopped wearing it so i needed to get my front two teeth bonded cause the teeth shifted and I had a big space!!! So if you decide, make sure you where your retainer after
