Even though the Nuggets are a much better team with the pick up on Kenyon Martin, and Carmelo is in his second year, you need to remember that even though we lost Shaq, we picked up three quality players, players that last year made it to the second round of the playoffs being the underdog in all their games. Lamar and Caron are very very good players, and then you have Brian Grant, they will do everything and more then what Shaq did, besides, imagine how many more points we are going to score at the free throw line now..
Denver is a good team, I predict that they will be 5th or 6th in the west, but do not underestimate the lakers, look for them to go 4th or possibly better...
My money is on the lakers tonight -3 and im also taking the over (193) because these two teams will run and score easy baskets...
