Just out of curiosity how much does a cat cost. Like from a pet store. Are they like dogs costing $2K? I was thinking of getting one

You have to pay for the neuter or spay which is like 50 bucks or something ..but the cat is free at a shelter...Depends on the make of the cat at a store but they range in price

If you adopt, its usually about 90 bucks for a kitten and 50 for a regular cat - but alot of times you have to bring a pre-paid receipt for spaying or neutering. Exotic purebreds can get expensive though, 600 dollars on up for kittens.

I have a show quality persian that I got from a breeder. She cost me 600 and got her when she was about 12 weeks old.

cdsmith, i don't live in a trailer like you i have a penthouse downtown vancouver so i am not allowed dogs

they would fuck up my burber carpet anyways! (dogs)

I have two cats.... one is a Maine Coon (very large and fluffy breed) and a Bengal (mixed with Tabby). My Bengal is the smartest cat I ever had.

Both of them were rescue animals.

if you want fluffy, get a persian.

if you also like siamese markings, get a himalayan (persian/siamese mix).

they are very sweet, super affectionate cats.

I would never adopt a cat from the humane society.

I tried to adopt one once, and they want you to do all this paperwork, all this and that, blah blah blah, for a cat
i mean i know they want them to go to good homes, but shit itsnot like i look like some trailerpark trash that will abuse the fucker like cdsmith

If I were in the market for a cat, Id hit up the local humane society (even though those places make me cry).

If you dont want to go that route I think these are cool as hell, thogh the website sucks.
