Mike I really hate to have to agree with you on this. But let me tell you what it was like to vote in Floriduh this morning.

I got up early so I could vote and take my son with me to show him how this system works ( he's 7) .

I arrive at my designated polling center at 6:45 am and find myself about 15th in line to vote when the polls open.

I go to the check in desk at 7am when the polls open only to find out I am at the wrong voting center . They have changed my designated center since the August elections and proceed to send me to Center number 2 ( the nice 113 year old lady looked me up on her laptop and everything) Needless to say I am pissed. I was never notified nor was an updated voter registration card mailed to me.

Voting Center #2 same result
Voting Center#3 Same result

I am now hours and miles into voting. I am annoyed.

Voting Center #4 advises me they are not my center but they will call for me . They make there calll and advise me that they have it all resolved if I will just go to voting Center#5 I am not pleased In fact I am talking Shit at this point and I am not being quiet about it.. but I make the journey.

Voting Center #5 I arrive, speak with the Voting specialist there and I am advised this is not my Voting Center. I hit the Roof!!!! I start throwing an absolute fit. I start telling my story and the more I am told to calm down the louder I got. Finally they get the Supervisor of Elections for my County on the line and she Advised me that I should go back to Voting center #4 and call her immediatly....and she would clear the way so I could vote.

I went back to voting center 4 and called her , and sure enough I finally voted.

But how many people would go through this much trouble?????

ps. Go Kerry!!!btw I haven't moved in 5years
