    Whats the biggest fine you've ever paid for road rules violation?

    Whats the biggest fine you've ever paid for road rules violation?
    The biggest one I paid was $200USD for speeding in the city. Been only making 15mph over the speed limit. What the hell, it was a sunny summer evening, dry roads, and small traffic. I was in a mood. Don't you get that feeling every once in a while?

              Well doing 94 in a 55 zone isn't that dangerous...
              Yet 20mph over the city speed limit for almost $400.. Thats just not fair.

                          I was in Alberta on the straightest road ever, no traffic, nice sunny day, windows down...

                          Got pulled over doing 200km in a 100 zone. Not to bad, except it was my dads car, so he wouldn't let me drive it anymore

                          452 bucks

                          Edit: Apparently, that was pennies compared to what some of you guys have been fined. I guess he felt bad for me or something :

                                      It is when the cop walks out in the middle of the highway and points at you to pull over and your brakes suck. Almost ran his ass over.

Stood on the brakes but he caught me doing 85 in a 65. Since I was just passing thru and had an out of state license, he made me pony up 200 dollars or go to jail. So I paid...
