Liars..I hate liars

so last night while I was walking down the street w/ Sunny, on our way to dinner, I got a funny phone call.

This girl says she's some guys' g/f and she wanted to know the context of the text messages that I sent her b/f...

first of all I had no idea he HAD a girlfriend..but anyways, it was just an innocent text message. We;ve been friends for years.

My question is, WHY the hell do guys lie about having girlfriends??
even tho we're just friends?? I have a b/f and he knows that..

How long has he had this girlfriend? It's odd a friend of years didn't think it interesting enough to tell you he's dating someone (or including you both and/or other friends in plans sometimes), unless he's a friend you don't see that often. I find that odder than him not telling her about you.
