I'm trying out the gallery game and my first run has had a disappointing CTR. About 0.6-1% every time I check it. What's your average CTR and do you have any tips? Maybe my gallery sucks or I'm not using a high pulling sponsor(epic mail), etc.

I've hired a ton of designers, and the average CTR I get from them is 0.5% - 1.5%. I've got some templates that have pulled 11% when it was fresh then dropped down to below 2% within a week of over saturation and then I've got some that pull a steady 4.5%.Free agent -

Back in 2001 my CTRs were like 2-2.5%.
Time passes, surfer expresses less interest to the ads, so its going lower and lower each day.

Your galls are not terrible but they are VERY generic. The sponsor isn't directly related to the content either... and the sponsor is not the normal porn site and that needs to be your focus in the gall.
Bigger text... diff. color text to pop the key words.
etc.. etc..SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment
