IMO, what is going to decide this election is the number of people who don't normally vote, getting out and voting this time.

THIS is why the polls need to be ignored. If anyone who wouldn't normally vote but was planning to decides 'Kerry is ahead, they don't need me' - Kerry could lose.

The continuing moral of the story being: get out and vote. It is NOT in the bag, and it's not over till all the votes are counted.

Make sure your vote is added to the total.

Addendum - In fact, it would be good political strategem to get potential democratic voters to rest on their laurels prior to the election, don't you think? Ignore the spin, even if it's in your favor. Vote.
