Im leaving for Boot Camp tomorrow

au revoir...Im off to Missouri tomorrow for Basic Training...I didnt really get a chance to get known here, but for those who do know me: Juicy and Izz,the Vega fam Ray,Mike and Mia,Timmy Two Times,Marky Knuckles,Sexy Lexy (I think thats all for now) Ill miss ya all and Ill be back for the Christmas Holidays..Share all my crazy stories of pushups,gas chambers,drill sergeants ,etc...

It's just not going to be the same when i come into the office in the morning and don't smell the 6 tons of body spray or the teckno tunes coming from your desk . I wish you all the luck in the world and i know this will be great for you ... I look forward to spending the holidays together and hearing all the stories about training .... I would say good bye but i'll be bringing you to the recruiters office in the morning so we'll save it .....

Too bad your not going into the Marines. I'll never forget Paris Island.

Remember that scene in the movies where the drill inspector walks into the bus and says "YOU ARE NO THE PROPERTY OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT" and "YOU HAVE THIRTY SECONDS TO FALL OUT OF THIS BUS AND STAND AT ATTENTION ON THE YELLOW FOOTPRINTS"? That's not the movies - that's fucking real. Instantly thirty recruits fly off the bus through windows if needed.

They kept us up over 24 hours that first day in a room with no windows, filling out paperwork and generally fucking wth us.

Then there was "the shower". They took us into a shower room in small groups and through buckets of Chlorine at us.

Once while living in a sqaud bay on the second floor we were told to fall out to the pavement below. One of us broke our leg in the process. I'll be damned if he didn't tell anyone until he passed out from the pain three hours later.

But the funniest story was one day all of us "standing on line" - sixty men standing straight up as humanly possible as if we had a stick up our ass. It was silent and you can hear a pin drop - Until one of us let loose with a loud and long fart. Even the damn drill instructor that day lost it and started laughing.

I was there in the spring of the year.and the weather was crazy.We'd be up at the crack of dawn..out chipping ice off the sidewalks..then by noon it would be hot and humid.

The 2 worst parts of basic were the gas chamber and the POW course.The rest of it was actually fun.Getting to shoot lots of cool weapons and getting into the best physical shape of your life!
Get your haircut,before you get there.The drill instructors like to fuck with the guys that get off the bus with long hair.And when they get in your face,yell right back at them.YES DRILL SERGEANT..and don't make the mistake of calling one *SIR* and absolutely do NOT volunteer for anything.

ya..Im gonna be there when its pretty cold I think..November-Jan..then continuing with AIT at Fort Lwood until April. Im a chick so I dont have to worry about my hair..should I wear it up tho? Whats the POW course about? Im pretty freaked about the gas chamber..Im going into training for NBC..so Ill prob have to experience the chamber alot more..ugh..anyways..Thanks for the info

The pow course was a 2 day event where they try and break you,Then to end it you get released and have to run about 5 miles through the woods at night to freedom.If they capture you during the escape you get another 2 days of hell.

The only tip about the gas course..is don't eat much the day before.

As you're female,i probably don't need to mention the whores in Rollo.. :D

OMG damn..and the POW course is for everyone who goes to Fort Lwood?? I hope I can do it..what/who is the whores in Rollo?? Are you going active, reserves or national guard? whats your MOS you gonna be a driver, engineer? I had to spend five weeks there in ft lost in the woods and it was the worse part of my training after AIT that place sucked ... the only thing going on there is a walmart right outside the post and plenty of GIs trying to party on the weekends... good luck tho, basic training is pretty easy .. at least for me it was...

hey..goin active 3 1/2 years...gonna be at ft lost in the woods for 22 weeks total..im training in NBC (nuclear biological chemical specialist) everyone seems to dislike fort lwood..hope I dont have too many bad experiences..was hoping they would send me to fort relaxin Jackson..but o well..thanks for the good luck.

Well good choice the Military will teach a lot and it can help you build strong roots for your life, I hope you have good NCOs suppervising you they are the one that can make you or brake you, I was unfortunate to land under the worst NCO support channel and supervision it kinda destroyed my military career but I think it was for the best. What made you take the decision of Joining the US Army?

I was first a 77F - Petroleum Specialist (it was the wrong choice) then I reclassed to 71L (Administrative Specilaist - That was a lot better - Office Job)

Nothing to be freaked out about it wont kill you and it wont hurt you... It will make your sinus's Empty in 10 Seconds through your nose and it will make your eyes burn

Remember to learn how to seal your mask and you wont have a problem at all the only people that have probs are the people that dont remember how to reseal thier mask

I did Army bootcamp and one year later joined the Marines and did Marine Basic Training too great times I would do it again if I had to...

Have a good time at basic training and learn everything you can as best as you can with todays world your going to need that training!
