That's what so many experts we're saying. It is 100% the only reason according to Bin Laden.

I have always been one to say that instead of retaliating and making things worse, after these attacks the USA should have taken a step back and asked itself, why did this happen?

Answer: Stop being international bullies and if we do have to police the world, at least do it in a fair way.

In Islam, it's permitted for Muslims to lie to unbelievers if it furthers their cause. It is called
taqiyah.
Usual lies are:
1. Islam means peace (it doesn't, it means submission)
2. Muslims invented everything (they didn't. They invented almost nothing)
3. Everyone is born a Muslim (everyone is actually born a non-cognitivist)
4. Muslims discovered the Americas (apart from the Native Americans it was the Vikings, then Columbus)
4. Their anger is due to Israel/ Palestine (it is not. There are many reasons for their anger - the main one being that Allah has given all the power, money and guns to the infidels, when actually in Islam a Muslim is superior to an infidel)
There are many others.
To trust Bin Laden is to admit your naivety, at the absolute very least.
