I go to Europe a couple times a year and there really is a big difference, they may not have "free speech" specifically written in any "constitution", but most countries in Europe are more free than the USA. And I agree somewhat. Though the fact that people in this day and age know a certain type of speach is illegal, and either do nt care or support it bothers me too. I believe if what you hear offends you, turn your radio station to one of the other ones. You don't like a tv program, use the remote and change the channel. Parents complain their kids get into porn on the Internet...well..have they tried taking the computer out of the kids bedroom, putting it in the family room where everyone is around or installing a password on the damn thing and only let them on when they can be monitored? No of course not..parents expect the net to be "G-rated" so they can use it as a babysitter because they are too damn lazy to watch their own children and want someone else to do it for them. It's not accurate as was presented during the cold war where Democracy/Freedom/Capitalism always go together and Communism/Facism always go together. These are all seperate words and ideas. People would sound smarter if they used them appropriately.
