321Studio's DVDxCopyXpress has been the best single piece of software I've used. You can find the old version (only the old versions work fully, because they were sued by the MPAA and were forced to take off the dvd decryption method) on networks such as Kazaa Lite K++, or bit torrent. Look for any version from 2.5 to 3.1Comment

Guys I know that shrink is free and all that, but is the one with the worst quality of all transcoders. The best two are Pinnacle Instantcopy and Intervideo DVD copy 2. Intervideo is much faster and works good when the source is 6 gigs at most. If your source is bigger than that, go with Instantcopy.
None of these two programs work with 'protected' disks, so you'll need anydvd installed (best) or dvd decrypter to bypass css
Here's a great article, almost an year old but still true to fact

With Xpress, it let's you put the full DVD on 1 disc, but eliminates the menu options, which works for me.
DVD X Copy let's you use the menu, but usually requires 2 DVD's to make, unless it's only an hour DVD.
My question is this. If I had to reformat my drive and re-install my programs, would this program still work and make copies or do they make you log into their web site and add a file that doesn't let you copy them anymore? (rumor I heard)
I still have my programs working, but I'm scared to reformat for fear of losing that ability.Still Ballin'Comment

That's what I use, one click and that's it. Don't know about the formatting and reinstalling thing though. I think XP has a function to "move" a program and all it's associated files. Now might be a good time for me to give that a try.321Studio's DVDxCopyXpressComment
