it's alot harder than you think - that was not a Photoshop plugin job.
not sure exactly what he did but it was alot more work than some plugin or some filters.
it's a quasi vector style artwork, but looks more like a 3D model.

It's called a "paintover"
Turning the "layers" off and on between the fabricated image, and the original image.
It's not the most difficult, but still takes some skill. As long as the artist doesn't try to play it off like it wasn't a paintover, it's all good in my book.

It wasnt redrawn, I just super imposed the two images, put the white background hand-painted image to multiply on its own layer, resized it till the proportions were exact, and all of the lines fit 100%. If its not a plugin its more work than was required. The image wasnt redrawn, it was painted over, for that you can just use a paintbrush and constantly sample the underneath color and paint over it. Very easy and quick process with a wacom tablet.

it's not a plugin - you can use some of Photoshop's filter to help cut down some work but there's lots of manual 'painting over' to be done.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Comment
