That jaw, broken or not is gonna hurt like a bitch for a while. As for the teeth, insist they try everything to save them. You can always get them capped later if they discolor. If they are unable to save them, insist they replace them with the false teeth that are actually screwed into the jaw. At your age it is best to avoid getting a bridge, they tend to wear the teeth on either side down which creates an ever increasing problem.

I've found that EMTs and even ER people don't for sure get it right every time. Won't go into my details here. I'm sure you'll have follow up for those teeth as you said. Hope you see your regular doctor to make sure you're all right long term. Just concerned - ditto what Persian Kitty posted above.
My personal advice is not to accept any settlement without an attorney. Get a lawyer now? Might be a good idea. You don't know all the details on what you'll need and the attorney would look out for your interests.Comment
