I'd change many, many things.
I'd close 25% of threads, f.e "how often do you take a shit" threads.
I'd make this board more friendly for those who are interested mostly in business.

I'd make it so that people with less than 50 posts can't start a thread. And make it so that no username can start more than 2 threads in one day.
Any obvious sigwhores that add nothing worhwhile removed. Duplicate threads need to be removed. Any news story, any funny thing, etc all are posted at least 10 times. Might as well just put a link to drudgereport instead of having ten people posting the news off there.Comment
