    Whats the best FREE antivirus software?

    I was using the AVG free version, but I'm wondering if any of you know any better free antivirus programs.


    I have Norton 2004 But I hate It and refuse to install it on this machine. Its too intrusive.

                          Try to uninstall it.


                          Also my boot time is increased by about 16 seconds with norton only 7 seconds with AVG. (yes that is important to me... it means that norton is loading more stuff that you don't see)
