what they havent considered are the youth vote. Teens who are watching mtv and hearing their stars speaking out against bush - now add those millions into the pile, along with those who might not want to get drafted.. and there is a strong silent majority waiting to hit bush that day

Not to mention the polls being off anyhow from all the 80 year old Republicans they are interviewing for their data.
"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

I hope so..last night on the NBC news they said they expected the highest turnout of the 18-25 year old vote since voting was lowered to 18..and that this group is heavily democratic!
Hey professors! Give the students the day of on 11/2/04 so they can go vote!
And from the same article..it appears those that use only cell phones are going to have a big impact also:
"Good News For Kerry?"
Avlon contended that those missed voters represented a potentially large "hidden vote" for Kerry. "We're seeing a drift in the demographic as we understand it," he said.
People who use only cell phones and those who work evenings and weekends tend to be younger and to live in urban areas. "As a result, these folks are off the rolls, they're off the charts, they're not being called, and they're not being counted."
Avlon noted that "young voters give Kerry an edge... and urban voters tend to vote Democratic traditionally. This is a group that could really swing the election and cause an election surprise."
"I think with an election this close, every little bit counts, and this is more than a little bit," he said. "This is millions of voters - it could easily cause an Election Day surprise."
I hope you guys who are rooting for Kerry aren't going to be disappointed if he gets elected and the shit doesn't start to smell like roses as you've predicted

Just getting rid of Bush will be a SIGNFICANT accomplishment!
Originally posted by candyflip That article says it will be a Kerry landslide with him getting as much as 380 Electoral Votes.
Michael Moore (yeah..I know..not the most non-partisan type of guy) said as much as a month ago that he did not think it was really going to be that close of an election. We shall see.
STOP with all this..... I want to continue to think Bush is going to win this, and just be (VERY) pleasently surprised if Kerry wins. I certainly can't take the disappointment from the 2k "vote" again, and really couldn't take another 4 years of Bush.
Right now, Bush has the slight upperhand. I'll put my trust in proven pollsters such as zogby who got the last 2 elections right bang on.
I hate Bush but logic tells me he's going to win.........and I've been obsessively checking into this for months now. Kerry needs 2 of the big 3 to even consider winning.

So if Kerry wins and Bush is gone, but Kerry completely fucks everything up ten fold from what Bush did, it will still be ok, because at least Bush isn't in office?

What a fucking waste of intelligence that is.
Of course, all you presented was the POSSIBILITY of this happening, and what I have on my side is 4 years of FACTUAL EVIDENCE & you call ME the idiot?

Polls don't mean shit this election. There are millions of new and first time voters. None of them are counted in the polls.
