Of course it is all about genetics and hormones.

There is no way to stop the hair loss; but, there are things you can do to slow it down.

Wearing a hat clogs the pores, suffocates the scalp. One of the first things men do when they begin to lose their hair is cover it up. It's the worst thing they can do, because it only makes the condition worse.

Take the hat off and let your scalp breathe. That's common sense, not an old wive's tale.

Drinking water improves circulation and facilitates nutrients to go to the places needed, like your head. Cleanses toxins from your body. Last I looked, the head was a part of the body.
Also common sense.

I'm not getting into a discussion about soda, which has ingredients in it...particularly carbonation, which is just plain bad for you on so many levels.

If you read further, you would have seen that I also suggested follicle transplantation, if he chose to go that route.

Nioxin has shown some results in staving off further loss of hair; but, it is not anything which will allow hair to grow back.

I also live with a man who is bald. Add several years of school and that's where I got it. Not BS. Not old wive's tales. Just plain old common sense and some knowledge.
