Don't you hate sponsor approval that takes days ?

I mean I wouldn't mind if they were age checking and shit . But they aren't doing nothing except checking a name / nickname / site. And it take days .

From now on as soon as a sponsor will take more than 24 hours to approve my account I will NOT promote them .

Fuck if I'm sending my traffic to a sponsor I want the support to go with it .

This actually should be a priority for any sponsor programs.

It is annoying when i work late 3-4am i find a sponsor i want to start promoting at that moment... then find out that i need some kind of approval . Then i have to wait i lose the mood to use them pretty quick .

Juicy if they can't take the 5 mins to approve my site, they don't deserve my traffic . For god sake if I have too ask my sponsor everytime I need a check I'd spend my time doing that to get all my old recurring checks

Why not auto approve all accounts and If someone enters fake info in to the form Just delete the account when they find the time,
Not Activate accounts when they find the time!

It makes no business sense whatsoever

more like 30 seconds. if its on a sunday or something its understandable, but theres no reason they should take longer than 24 hours during the week.

Approval processes are becoming necessary to cut down fraud and chargebacks. I agree that they shouldn't take longer than 24 hours, but this is going to be something done by all Sponsors, eventually.

I do not think you should get auto approval because you can send a load of fraudulent signups to a program before they can delete your account. By that time, their chargeback ratios are through the roof. They can't afford to take that risk now.

If a webmaster is really worth his/her salt, they should expect and be willing to go the approval process. Like Juicy said, you can always hit them up to speed things along.

My view is if you're too lazy to contact the sponsor, what says you'll actually work to promote them. This is work, people, not a picnic. You can't sit on your ass and expect people to hand you everything you need or want.

Can you be a pornstar made a thread this morning . I said I'd start today ... I was gonna make desings and everything because I have a free day (Instead I posted on GFY all day) .

I still haven't got any mail from them saying my account was approved . It's not like it's hard to find if I'm a scammer or not ... I'm in canada and over 600 webmasters know me .

Dre, I just heard from RRRed. I looked up your account. It was approved within minutes of you joining (9:46 AM on 3/3 )and our records show that we sent a Congrats & Welcome e-mail from one of our admins... You obviously didn't see that, not sure why... But I just sent another e-mail to you myself... It was sent to [email protected]

Doh! I just looked again, we approved the account the next day, took about 20 hours..... sorry for the delay, but you're on....

FYI, our terms say we'll get back to you in 48 hours.... I would have preferred that we turned it around in an hour or two.... LMK if you need anything.

Just to clarify.... We automatically approve domestic accounts and check on all foreign applications witha promoise to turn those around in 48 hours or less

Jay its about knowing who your partners are, what traffic is coming to you and ensuring our content is in places that you deem acceptable.

More sponsors could stand to do more verifying and use more judgment.
