I spent 20 mins writing a reply, only to find out that the thread had been closed
So here goes.

I think you are ignorant as far as modern western Christianity is concerned. Nowadays it's one big happy cult of Israel, regardless of what it may or may not have been in the past. I know, because all the Christian congregations/schools/organizations everywhere in my western European country at least are bathing in Israeli flags and preaching about the holy ways of the Chosen, and the evil inhabiting the Palestinians. The "mainstream" churches preaches never-ending love and compassion and gaydom and other things on the PC product-range, but never the less teaches that the Jews are the holy Chosen who are more valuable in the eyes of God.
Recently we had a news story about some of their schools, and their standard classrooms for kids consisted of wall-lining cubicles, with Israeli flags hanging on the wall in front of each cubicle.
But as far as personal experience goes, I met an old acquintance of mine not long ago, and he had turned into a hardcore Christian after being "saved" during a high on a (note: hallucinogenic) drug. He spent the good part of an hour trying to convince me that the Jews are holy little Chosenites, and that the naive efforts of the Palestianians to defend themselves in their own land are actually guided by Satan himself and his evil plans. He also tried to harrass me into coming with him to the "meetings," lest I would burn in hell, where I would forever be impaled and torched and what have you. He is not the only Christian I personally know to spew this though, as far as the Jew thing goes. An old drunkard whom I pity enough to visit and exchange a few words with every once in a while jumps onto the same line of though if we ever approach the issue of religion. Jews this and Jews that. We must be good little Jew-servers because Jews are God's Chosen people and God would want it of us.
I don't know if things are like this in Sweden, and you just posed your less than clever little insinuation as a way to make your post seem to have at least one point, but to my experience the only Christians critical of the Jews are a select few outcast groups in the "dirty south" of the USA.
