once temped for the US Postal Service as a convicted criminal for training purposes. i had to stand in a field and have officers in training approach me with the intent to arrest me. they told me to put up a fight to make it more realistic beforehand.... stupid thing i couldve ever done. after a ripped jacket and a sprained wrist i quit after one day.Comment

I had a part time job in high school working in the stock room of a very busy shoe shop. It was terrible, I would be running about with a radio in one hand and pen and paper in the other trying to write down the numbers of shoes everyone kept shouting to me. I was usually left on my own so it was even worse. I packed it in after a few weeks after one girl started shouting at me for not getting her shoes, even though I had shouted across the radio three times that we were out of stock.
It wasn't worth the grief from everyone with the money I was getting anyway.Comment

friday, i worked from like 2-midnight, saturday i worked 8 am to 11pm... we could have been let out early but my fellow 40something cokehead cook refused to go home cuz he was depending on this minimum wage to score some yayo.
i quit on sunday once i realized what the hell i was thinking.
however i did get to be the mouse! twice! ON MY ONLY 15 MINUTE BREAKS! and we had to wear plastic bags on our heads in the mouse outfit to prevent us from getting lice.

when i was 18 on college i worked as a dishwasher at a pizza shop in a total whitetrash town. i'd go back to the dorm after work smelling like sauce and cheese. i nver got paid much and the food was fucking gross.

When I was a kid I worked for awhile as a telemarketer. NO job in the world is worse than being a telemarketer, and being rejected all day and having people tell you they "are not interested" all day is no fun!
I also worked for awhile as customer service rep for a call center. It was really slow, we would only get like 2 calls an hr and then just sit talking, but man, those people that would call were extremely irate! I would have 1 hr calls, and get yelled at all the time. I'm a very sensitive person and it would really get to me, and I would take the stress home with me too. Any job dealing with the public, even over the phone is stressful. Thank god it was over the phone and not in person. I might crack if someone started yelling at me in person and start tearing up or something, lolComment

I was the manager of this local Chuck E cheese and we had these kids that we had to tell to wear these plastic bags on their heads....
Luckily, I made a fortune selling coke to the cook there and making these kids think that they had to work til midnight all the time...
