    Mod rewrite

    I want to enable "mod rewrite" on a box so i typed:

    pico -w /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

    But then i get "Command not found"

    Huh ???

    Oh yeah i did "su" to root

      You don't have pico installed.

      Pico comes with pine which is a mail client that you don't need.

      You almost certainly have vi on the box, though. But it's much harder to learn. Better start reading

        Try nano or emacs, both are easier to use especially nano. If its not installed, try "up2date nano" to fetch and install the latest. For that matter just try "up2date pico".

          Use vi ,it's normally installed.
