how much for a test of 2K hits?

if it's good and it converts, then i'd have no problem paying $10 per K.

do you have any reputable references on the board here?

most traffic brokers sell gallery hits for less than $1 per 1000 uniques. and they filter it for proxy/hitbox traffic.

who's to say i'm not going to get just a whole bunch of hitbox and chinese traffic to my galleries?

to answer your question, i say no thanks. i only pay cash like that up front when i'm dealing with someone i know well or someone who has a good reputation and comes highly recommended by someone i know well.

otherwise, i buy a few k of test traffic and see how it goes.

You could buy 10k gallery hits for $10. Why would anyone spend $150 for an ad spot on a gallery that'll get 30-40k when they could make their own gallery with their own ad and get that traffic for $30-40?
