Proposed 2257 Regs & the Election

It doesn't matter who wins the White House in terms of whether the new 2257 regs will be enforced.

The enforcement is a mandate from Congress with the DOJ required to report to Congress how many inspections were conducted and the resulting prosecutions from those inspections.

The difference between Bush and Kerry comes into play with the DOJ planned ramping up of obscenity prosecutions. The DOJ attack on our industry using obscenity prosecutions in multiple jurisdictions will probably disappear shortly after Kerry is elected and appoints a new Attorney General.

However, no matter who wins.....2257 Regs are here to stay.
