        I finally lit a fire under the service manager's bum by calling the dealerships owner - they're now pulling the plug of a showroom model in Maryborough and driving it over here to fit it to ours.

        We're seriously thinking of selling the car and buying matching motor scooters

        damn sorry to hear about the part.. they can be kinda useless like that.. im STILL waiting for the LED cluster in my dash to be fixed. and it's been about a month.. ordered in the wrong part.. went on holidays etc..

                                                We had just one of the LEDs go in the thing that is the combination clock/trip meter/average speed reading/distance to empty gauge. They couldn't replace the LED - it was the whole unit - $1800 thanks very much.

                                                Thank god it was under warranty.

                                                We got the car back at 5pm this arvo - delivered personally by the local service manager - he was not a happy camper
                                                Left intentionally blank ... just like my brain

                                                    I live in a neighborhood where cars are broken into often by the homeless. The only thing you can do is leave *nothing* within view from the outside of your car. Nothing, not even CDs, which thieves sell to get booze and drugs.
