    I cant think of one thing the Polish ever did to contribute to society. Just lazy bastards.

                                  Shortly before the outbreak of WWII Poland cracked the German Enigma codes - Something the British, French, and Americans were unable to do. After Germany invaded Poland gave this information to the British, who were still unable to read the messages.

                                  I've seen a lot of threads saying "If it wasn't for the Americans" or "If it wasn't for the Russians" that we would all be speaking German now. Not true. If it wasn't for Poland we'd all be speaking German now.

                                                                                                                                      I went to Poland a couple of times...I have nothing but good things to say about them. Their food is great, they were very helpful people. When we went to Auschwitz, on the way back we got lost...we stopped and asked for help and at least 3 people gave us directions (they tried very hard to explain to us in English)and one guy went out of his way to lead us out of where we were.
