Never. All they do is purify it and then add some minerals to it. Costs about 6 cents to make and distribute one bottle.

i heard several years ago that Coca Cola thought the biggest threat from their business came from mineral water, so now they started selling tap water lol

I was watching a program a couple years ago about bottled water. From what they said, all this spring water etc. does not have to pass the high testing levels of municipal water. They tested a whole bunch of bottled water samples and in the end, the municipal water was actually more pure than the bottled water. I don't know if things have changed since then, but I rarely drink bottled water anymore after seeing the program.

You do realize most of the amercian bottled waters are tap water don't you? If you take a close look a lot of them even say they come from a municipal water supply. There's not much of a difference from your tap water, unless your tap water tastes like shit locally and mine does.
