Somehow when I deleted IE6, I also deleted vital .exe and .dll files.
I had to buy a new PC, put in the old hard drive in the new PC, take ownership of all files that were locked and copy them in new hard drive. Then put back hard drive in old PC, reformat and re-install everything
Now it works like a charm, but had I known what was ahead of me, I would not have installed it.

i had no problem with IE, but I don't use it that often, when I do it works fine.
