What's the % of taxes a company in your country has to pay (just services - if you aren't selling anything) - gross?

Here in Brazil is around 16% on gross for almost all kinds of services. So if you get a $1000 check, $160 goes to taxes. Then you pay your expenses and the rest of the $840 is the profit.

You don't have to pay personal taxes when transfering your company's profit to yourself.

Nothing if you plan it correctly in a "real world" biz. Tho earnings off the net are not taxable.

60% of the gross? Company or personal taxes?

                            60% of GROSS? That's can't be right.

In Canada, the rate is about 22% on corporate NET PROFITS if you fall into the "Small Business" catagory, which is defined as net profits less than $250K, and capital less than (I believe) $5M. If you're not a Small Business, rate is about 43%.

Any salary taken out of the corporation counts as an expense, and is not taxed at the corporate level. But, it's personally taxed in your hands. Personal marginal rates are between 17% and about 45% (depends on your province).
