Well first off the GT3 is a wonderfull track day car and weekend play thing, but I would not do the Gumball in one, in standard form way to stiff, yours eyes will of fallen out of their sockets by the end of the event.
And where you get $560k from I dont know, they are about Euro 90/110k new and I have seen versions second hand with little miles on the clock in the UK for £56k.
One of the best "motoring" YV show's on the planet id on UK TV and they have their own track next to the studios, its called "TOP GEAR" they took the GT3 around the track in damp conditions and it beat evrything else to the point they where going to bring it back and do it again on a full dry track.

Better than the koenigsegg was a dude on the 2000 Gumball doing it in his Mclaren F1, I was doing about 150 mph at the time over the moutain roads between Spain and France and i'm nopt kidding you I tell you he went past me as if I was fucking stationary, he had to be well over 200 mph at the time, I never even got the chance to wave at him.........
Same dude also got a special trophy for the most spent in a bar in one night, great hotal in the Black Forrest (Germany) he dumped £6,000 between 3 of them. Surffice it to say he was still to pissed the next day to drive so the dude I mentioned in an earlier post that had his 550 confiscated drive them to Paris....... such is the Gumball

If you are seriously looking at the GT3 as a street car. I can hook you up with a number of different guys that own GT3's.
From what I understand,dollar for dollar the TT is an easier car to drive fast than the GT3 is.You might not be as anonymous as you think you are.Comment

Its really about taking part in the whole experience and having some great fun at the same time, Ive loved everyone of them and you meet some truly amazing people, just take the Jackass Crew, the thing is that even though a lot of the people doing the Gumball are in fact very wealthy guys and girls, there aint any class difference at all, all the class crap goes out the window and it does not matter weather you are driving a Ferrari or a Mini to everyone you are a "FELLOW GUMBALLER"
The dude that owned the Mclaren F1 (mentioned earlier) was one of the nicest guys ive ever met a real gentleman, he paid £650,000 for the Mclaren and he used it as he daily road car in London, he never shoved any of his wealth down anyones throat.
So its a lot of things really "Maximillion Cooper" got one thing right for sure, there aint any bullshit its "GUMBALL"
