    Wal-Mart bans Jon Stewart's book

    CNN reporting Wal-Mart has banned Jon Stewart's new book

    Nothing new for them... they already censor music and movies... but now that Wal-Mart is prettymuch the only store left to shop at in smalltown america, it's not good for consumers or freedom.

                  IN the area where my ranch is, I have a choice, of places to shop for food. I can drive 20 miles to Walmart, or 60 to another type of store. Well I choose Walmart, because I can bu other things as well.


                  I have noticed that Walmart sells mostly books that deal with religion.

                              The sad part is in a lot of small towns it is the ONLY place to shop so you are forced to buy there or drive miles to shop somewhere else....Leave it to a bunch of Arkansas bible thumping rednecks to make it harder for peopleto get any other opinion about their beloved Bush......

                                  It's sad really. You can buy a shotgun at Walmart, but you can't buy certain books, music, videos, etc. It's as retarded as being able to see blood and death on Prime Time local television but the idea of showing a nipple is out of the question.

                                  We're a pretty fucked up country, if you ask me. Wasn't it the Constitution that separated Church and State ? So why then do fucking religious groups and their fucked up ideas of what's right and wrong keep infringing on my ability to see a fucking TIT on television.... I just want TIT damnit... !

                                      It's not as if they censored it because of political reasons, if they have a policy against nudity and the book has nudity, they can't sell it.

                                      It is unfortunate that in small towns people have nowhere else to shop, I didn't realized that. In Canada there aren't many wall marts in small towns.
