It's almost identical to a pay-per-click system, however instead of logging unique hits on a page, we plan on logging via a drm trailer which will prevent fraud with the backend tools in place and ensures the traffic is real. ie no proxies ;-)

Would it be more enticing for webmasters if we were to do a hybrid?

example:

We pay you per trailer view of a certain amount per view up to 10,000 trailer views then after that we we put you back to the regular program where you can get paid per sale.

You can possibly gaurantee yourself revenues this way and gamble for the big odds as well.
