I think voting early or voting by mail (absentee) for a democrat is too high risk.

I was almost unable to vote last year because my name, and the names of 100s of registered democrats and african americans, though in the voter database failed to print out on the hard copy they had at voting locations. It took over an hour due to the heavy call volume to confirm registered status, and you could only confirm one voter at a time.

So the next week I went and registered republican- I figure it gives me a better shot- at least I will be able to walk in, vote, and walk out instead of waiting in a line forever, and watching people on their work break be denied their vote due to time constraints.

After all this my vote still may get thrown away- but at least I tried.
