Either I put the order together wrong, or they pulled the $750 off discount already. When I plugged in the coupon code (ZD5$P0NS954P16), and recalculated the total -- it only took 10% off.

Any ideas on this one?

code still works on some of the laptops... not on all...

im probably ganna ship to my bud's place.. ganan call him up when he gets home from work, hopefully the deal is still going.

That's exactly what the problem was -- I was trying to pick up an Inspiron 8600, and I must have been putting my order together at exactly the same time they decided to pull that one from being eligable. That's why it was only showing 10% discount with the coupon code.

So I had to get the 5160 instead, but I beefed it up to the largest processor, video card, and DVD-RW drive. Grand total with shipping came out to like $928, but will get an additional $49 knocked off of that for the shipping rebate.

Wish I came across this earlier today... would have grabbed the 9100!
