    What is the best format to use for video on the web

    I have a ton of small 10 second video clips (mainstream) and I'm wondering what type most people have for video. wmv? mpg? thx.

      I would say go with mpg but make sure the files sizes arnt too big

                  As a surfer I perfer either mpg or wmv those formats are windows media friendly and I also like the scrollable/skimable feature with out lag

                                      320x240 wmv, i know its not the best quality but since one of the models did a 30 min video i switched from avi to wmv... 250 kpbs i know there are better quality streams but not a lot of ppl can watch them...

                                                          Surfers love mpeg. If you can spare the BW go for mpeg. WMV does make alot of browsers crash/ proplems playing those... Divx just plain sucks with all the codecs. Go for mpg

                                                              MPG, you can make the files small and it's a pretty universal format, can be viewed with both Windows machines and Macs.
