    Can I improve my google PR doing this?? (inside)

    Let's say I want to improve my Google PR of a site of mine... If I put the link of that site in my sig will I improve my PR ratio once I have over 2k posts here??

    I know most threads here have a PR1, so that would be like thousands of PR1 sites linking to my page?

    Is that right or am I missing something here?

    I'm just a newbie.

                                  I accidently got one of my sites some pr through seti@home

                                  I joined one of their seti teams, and the team had a team site that had high pr and listed their members and their pages. I was the first link on a pr5 site

                                                                          seti@home is a project that SETI (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence) started a few years back. Basically, it uses a bunch of homecomputers to decipher radio waves that SETI is trying to intercept from outerspace. Their belief is that we may find another race of something or other and the way we will achieve this is by the basic use of radio waves.

                                                                          Anyone can participate.... you just download the software and when your computer is idle it runs code and then in set intervals transmits the data back to SETI via the net.

                                                                                          But what if I was Fletch (with 30k+ posts), could a hard link on his sig affect the PR ratio of a site??

I find 1900 backlinks from places such as AVN which would earn the crawl. Maybe Lensman has a robots.txt file. Don't see a meta tag with reference to indexing on GFY.

                                                                                                                              Come to think of it, can't say I have seen one reference to GFY in google unless I actually type gofuckyourself.

                                                                                                                              Small doorway pages get found, small blogs get found, all kinds do nothing pages get found. Would be interesting to find out what the real answer is.

                                                                                                                                                                      So GFY IS partly spidered (http://www.google.com/search?q=site:...8&start=0&sa=N) but google have never been fond of forum subpages cause of the URLs so hardlinks in your sig wont boost your sites.

Something like music lyrics. Structure it well, and you will have 30k+ pr1 and 2 pages... I personally have about 200,000 PR pages online. All legitimate sites.
