    Is ARS the only sponsor who asks for a W-9 form?

    It seems you now have to submit one when signing up for an account, any other sponsors do this too?

          nah, ARS is just really efficient, they made all their existing webmasters send one in too

              But im in Canada... so i guess thats probably why

                      If they don't, they should. It's required by the IRS. If you're in Canada (or any other country technically) then you're supposed to fill out a W-8 form if you're going to be receving money from a US based sponsor. Yeah I know, nobody does it but it doesn't mean they aren't supposed to
