Especially with a search that span's over 5 Million posts. The vault is alot of knowledge.

Somehow $10 just not seem cost prohibitive enough to keep out the undesirables.

I think it would do the opposite and increase return traffic.
Maybe split the fee's.

Pay 10 bucks a year for the search feature plus sig space.

Most of us would pay, but that doesnt make it a good idea.

We get tons of threads like this every month. I'm starting to think you guys just wait to make such threads for the "good idea" replies.

Paid board = less bullshit = less ent = less views = less buisness = loss of interest ... and so on.

Now, THIS is a good idea.

Different levels of membership.

I'd definitely pay for the search function.

I think paying just to post and for sig space would be counter-productive though. Lens makes his money here from advertising and dropping the page views, number of members etc. would make it look much less impressive.
