So, I get contacted by a girl and her boyfriend and the chick wants to have a solo site. She's cute, but nothing too fantastic, and since we have a really nice software package here, we can whip out sites like a nothing with little investment. So, I write up the paper work send it out. Part of the agreement includes her leasing a digital camera from the company. The idea is that the boyfriend shoots photos, sends them to me as she's on the east coast and I'm on the west coast. So she signs the agreement, and faxes it over. I buy a digital camera and send it to her address.
The next day, I get an email from the boyfriend saying:
"I finally had a chance to REALLY look at the agreement you sent. I am not angry or mad but I would like a new agreement sent with some additions and changes I have outlined below please."
So, the signed agreement is in my hands, the camera is en route, and this asshat thinks he can blackmail me by holding the camera hostage. Nice try fucker. I called Fedex and had the package re-routed to my office and cancelled the contract.
If he were smart, he would have waited until the camera arrived, shot a bunch of pictures, and then tried that move. I guess patience is a virtue
