Las Vegas gun ranges

I know some of you guys have guns and shoot offen, so im wondering a good place for a friend and I to fire off a few rounds in Las Vegas if possible at all.

Im from Australia so this would be something of a new experience for me.

Any recommended places for hand guns or riffles?

Maybee you can find an outdoor range that has a nice rental selection. I just don't know of any off the top of my head.

i've been there. great place. i shot an AK-47 there

Honestly... That place is a shithole.

I used to go there, but stopped when trip after trip out there, their H&K's subguns would just jam, or regularly broken.

I would highly recommend American Shooters. Their range is the largest indoors in the Southwest, you don't feel cramped like you do at the Gun Store. American Shooters' pro shop has just about anything you would want.

If you want ghetto, go to The Gun Store, if you want a range that you would feel comfortable taking a client to, and shooting pistols, rifles, and machine guns that work, take them to American Shooters.

Thanks for that info. I have been to the Gun Store a few times don't know any different but I thought it was a tad on the ghetto side. ;) I'll check out American Shooters when I'm there during internext for sure.

yeah, i agree totally about thegunstore
i also was pissed when i arrived and 1/2 their guns were converted to 9mm and i was shoulder to shoulder with the others shooting in their 3 lane range with appeared to be 15feet deep. its fun once i guess, but ill have to check out americanshooters. thanks

Heh, be careful what you bring with you to shoot at, I had a bunch of friends detained by LVMPD and DHS for mixing Tannerite targets.

Mind you they were mixing up 1-2 gallon jugs of the stuff, over the little bottles that it comes with, the neighbors in and around the mountains thought Al Qaeda was testing explosives in the high desert.
